Using the natural power sources to design an energy independent highrise building was the target for this project.
The idea was to absorb radiative energy during summer and store it for winter.
The process of absorption happens in the facade panels, which contain water filled pipes right under their concrete surface.
They transport the energy to a central water tank, which extends to the entire height of the building.
The water inside the tank is constantly warming up during summer to provide energy for winter.
The optimization of the shape for each facade panel according to its position and orientation provides a maximum of sun exposed surface.
